Dear Family and Friends of RHEMA Singapore,
Greetings! We’re Jeff and Beth Jones and for the last 18 years we’ve served as the Senior Pastors of Valley Family Church, a growing church of over 3,000 people, in Southwest Michigan, USA. We are so looking forward to being with you in November!
We are parents of four lovely children and endeavor to teach the Word in a conversational, relevant and inspiring way by sharing down-to-earth insights that connects with you. We have found that teaching with practical illustrations and a little bit of laughter seem to make learning biblical principles effective and enjoyable.
We are living the same life you live...pretty much the same - it’s a juggling act. And like you, we’re going through the normal life changes...watching kids grow up too fast – our oldest just graduated from college and is heading to Rhema, two kids in college, and only one left in high school, as well as navigating the issues that come with aging parents 1500 miles away and dealing with hormones that float somewhere between pms and menopause.
We have found that the strong current in our lives is our faith. Faith in our faithful God. Faith to believe. Faith to laugh. Faith to forgive. We’ve found in this busy, uncertain world in which we live that the foundation from which everything in our lives stem is personal faith in a personal God and His unchanging Word.
We’re excited to share with you God’s Word, some of our life stories and lessons we have learned on Marriage and Family! Some of the topics that will be covered include:
- Preparing singles for marriage;
- Raising kids with a strong foundation in Jesus;
- Helping teens navigate through their teenage years;
- Learning to work together as husband and wife without strangling each other, and much more!
We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible this October for a time of fun and refreshing!

The Retreat
The RHEMA Singapore retreat that was planned to be held in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, will be held in Singapore instead. Taking into consideration that more participants will be able to join us in Singapore, instead of JB, we trust you will understand and support our decision.
On top of that we have also included a special Ladies' Meeting for ladies only!
Even Better News! With the change, we will be able to conduct the retreat in our classroom at no cost to you!
However, registration is still needed for catering purposes. A non-obligatory love offering will be received. Please RSVP to 6382 1900.

Some of the topics that will be covered includes:
