Prayer & Healing School

At RHEMA Singapore, we continue as Rev. Kenneth E. Hagin began, teaching prayer and healing by both precept and example, and ministering the healing power of God to all who are in need.

There will be No Prayer & Healing School during RHEMA Singapore semester and term breaks. From time to time, Prayer School sessions may be used for other student activities.

Prayer School

The primary purpose of Prayer School is to teach people, both by precept and example, how to pray and flow with the leadings and promptings of the Person of the Holy Spirit. A typical session opens with worship and a teaching on prayer or a related topic. Prayer School concludes with a time of corporate or individual prayer.

Healing School

The primary purpose of Healing School is to minister to those in need of healing and to train the students how to minister healing to the sick. A typical session opens with worship and a teaching on healing or a related topic, and concludes with a time of ministry to those in need.

The Story Behind Prayer & Healing School

Rev. Kenneth E. Hagin

Paralyzed

As a teenager, Kenneth E. Hagin lay paralyzed for many months, seemingly destined to die. His heart cried out for someone to encourage him to believe that he could be healed. But the few people he asked for help only told him to prepare for death.

Healed

By the grace of God and young Kenneth's determined study of God's Word, faith finally was quickened in his heart for him to believe for his healing. On 8 August 1934, he was raised off the bed of sickness by the power of God, completely healed and made whole.

Minister

As a minister of the Gospel, Rev. Hagin long carried a dream in his heart to help those who suffered in pain and sickness the way he himself had once suffered. He wanted to provide a place where the sick could come and be in an atmosphere where faith was put into them.

Prayer & Healing School

The Lord put it on Rev. Hagin's heart to start Prayer and Healing School in the US, and the first classes were held in 1979. At the outset, Rev. Hagin dealt with both prayer and healing in the same session. As time went on, however, he saw there was a need to separate prayer and healing to allow for more specific teaching on each subject.
