Director's Alumni Message

Dear Alumni

You have been on our hearts. We've wanted to write to you to encourage you because we know that after graduating from RHEMA Singapore, alumni frequently go through some separation anxiety and feelings of disorientation about the next steps for their life and ministry.

We want to suggest to you a number of things that you might consider doing to help you on a practical level to enter in and to take advantage of the next phase that the Lord has in store for you.

  1. Put into practice the things that you learned at RHEMA. Take all that you know about prayer and the Word, and be a doer of it!
  2. It would be good for you to review your class notes from time to time as the Lord leads you. We believe that as you do, there will be certain things that you wrote down that will speak to you particularly to help move you into position for all that God has in store for you.
  3. Taking the "next step" that the Lord shows you is important. Most of the time God will only show you one step at a time and until you take that next step you won’t see anything else. In that regard we highly recommend to you a message by Rev. Keith Moore entitled “Walking in the Light Pt. 5” from his Sunday service on May 9 2010. You may download this message for free by going to  and scrolling down until you come to Sunday, May 9, 2010. This message will minister to you. In it Rev. Moore stresses how important it is to just take the next step. There is information that God has for you that you will receive after you take that "next step" and not before.
  4. Come back to RHEMA from time to time for Prayer and Healing School or to sit in on classes as you have time. This will do wonders to refresh you and bring to mind the important things that the Lord taught you while you were in school. Remember that you may sit in for free on as many or as few sessions as you choose for any course which you have previously taken.
  5. Find a way to serve in your local church. Get hooked up there in some capacity. Do what your hand finds to do!
  6. Listen to the Messages-of-the-Month sermons by Kenneth E. Hagin and others. Login here.
  7. Consider taking on a mission project. For example, there are indigenous ministries in foreign nations that need different kinds of help: financial, administrative, instructional, business advice and so on. There are projects on the foreign field such as orphanages, girls’ homes, church buildings, translation and distribution of Bro Hagin's books, etc. This is one way to put your hand to the plough. There are lots of things that you can do and if you desire more information about various mission projects that are in need of help,  contact us and we'll be happy to furnish you with more information.
  8. Lastly, Dean Samuel and we are available to meet with you, talk with you and pray with you, or to simply go out for food and fellowship just to chat.

We want you to know that you can write to us or call us or come in and visit. We are keenly interested in your progress in the kingdom of God!

Well, we hope that you find these few suggestions helpful. Please know that we’re praying for you. We know that God has a good plan for you. None of us starts out where God intends us to end up. We start out small and build from there. We start out with the few things that He shows us and as we are faithful with those things He shows us more. We know that God called you to RHEMA for a purpose and as you put into practice the things that you learned, and walk in the light of what you know, more light will be shown to you.

We love you. God bless you!
